For most dogs, antlers are a great and safe option. If you dog is older or has brittle teeth then the antler powder is a better option to get the same nutritional value. Also dogs that crush instead of chew are not suited to have an antler for a chew toy. It's important to match your chew to your dog. Economy and elk antlers are softer. Premium deer is the hardest for the most aggressive chewers.

Most dogs aren't too picky when it comes to size. As long as they can fit it in their mouth comfortably, they it will work. For best fit, small dogs can have a chew all the way up to the larger size. Medium to big dogs can have chews from Medium all the way up to XXL chews.

Economy - Is more weathered, cracked on both sides, and has the greatest variability in how long it lasts. This will be the softest for the avg. to below avg. chewers Mid-Grade - Slightly weathered or imperfections, cracked on one side, and still has most of the antler integrity. Premium - The freshest antler and the toughest. No weathering.
